Endress Hauser Absolute and Gauge Pressure Ceraphant PTC31B PTP31B PTP33B

Product Overview

The Ceraphant PTC31B, PTP31B, and PTP33B are a family of cost-effective pressure switches from Endress+Hauser, designed for safe measurement and monitoring of absolute and gauge pressure in gases, vapors, liquids, and dust. With compact design and integrated switching electronics, they provide decentralized and economic process monitoring and control.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Three Sensor Variants for Diverse Applications: The PTC31B features an oil-free ceramic sensor diaphragm for high process availability in vacuum and abrasive media applications. The PTP31B uses a welded metal sensor diaphragm, offering high corrosion and abrasion resistance for measuring in gases, steam, or liquids. The PTP33B, also with a fully welded metal sensor, is specifically designed for hygienic applications with CIP/SIP cleaning capability and 3-A/EHEDG certifications.

  • High Long-Term Stability and Reliability: All models provide high reproducibility and long-term stability, with a reference accuracy of up to ±0.3% (Platinum version) and a long-term stability of 0.2% of URL/year.

  • On-Site Function Check and Information: Equipped with LEDs and a digital display for easy local function checks and status information.

  • IO-Link Connectivity: Available with IO-Link communication, enabling easy configuration and flexible integration into all fieldbus systems, reducing both cost and complexity.

  • Designed for International Use: Backed by a broad range of approvals and process connections, making them suitable for global applications.

Endress Hauser Cerabar Pressure Transmitter PMP50

The Ceraphant PTC31B, PTP31B, and PTP33B are a family of cost-effective pressure switches from Endress+Hauser, designed for the safe measurement and monitoring of absolute and gauge pressure in gases, vapors, liquids, and dusts. Featuring a compact design and integrated switching electronics, these devices provide decentralized and economic process monitoring and control solutions.

The series comprises three distinct sensor variants to suit different application needs. The PTC31B utilizes an oil-free ceramic sensor diaphragm, which is abrasion-resistant and high vacuum resistant down to 0 bar abs., making it ideal for vacuum applications and processes with abrasive media. The PTP31B, in contrast, features a welded metallic piezoresistive sensor diaphragm that is highly overload-resistant up to 400 bar, suitable for robust industrial applications. The PTP33B is specifically designed for the food and beverage and hygienic industries, featuring a fully welded metal sensor diaphragm and small flush-mounted hygienic process connections; it holds 3-A and EHEDG certifications and is suitable for CIP/SIP cleaning processes.

All models provide high reproducibility and long-term stability, with a reference accuracy of up to ±0.3% (Platinum version) and long-term stability of 0.2% of URL per year. They offer on-site function checks via LEDs and a digital display. A key feature across the family is the optional IO-Link communication capability, which enables easy configuration and flexible integration into all fieldbus systems, thereby reducing costs and complexity.
