The Proline Promass P 100 is a Coriolis flowmeter from Endress+Hauser, designed as the specialist for life sciences applications with an ultra-compact transmitter. Dedicated to sterile processes and demanding hygienic environments, it delivers full performance on the smallest footprint, making it the preferred choice for system integrators, skid builders, and equipment manufacturers.

The meter operates on the Coriolis measuring principle, where two measuring tubes oscillate in antiphase and the Coriolis force creates a phase shift proportional to mass flow. This direct measurement is virtually independent of pressure, density, temperature, and viscosity, ensuring robust performance. The nominal diameter range covers DN 8 to 50 (³⁄₈ to 2 inches), with measuring capabilities from 0 to 70,000 kg/h (0 to 2,570 lb/min).

The device provides multivariable measurement, simultaneously capturing mass flow, density, temperature, volume flow, corrected volume flow, reference density, and concentration. Mass flow accuracy for liquids is ±0.1%, and density accuracy is ±0.0005 g/cm³. The measuring principle requires no inlet or outlet straight pipe runs, enabling space-saving installation. Medium temperature range is –50 to +150°C as standard, with an optional high-temperature version extending to +205°C. Maximum process pressure reaches PN 63, Class 300, or 40K.

Wetted materials are selected for sterile and hygienic compliance. Measuring tubes are constructed of 1.4435 (316L) with electropolished surface finish and low delta ferrite, and process connections are available in 1.4435 (316L) and 1.4404 (316/316L). The device complies with ASME BPE, 3-A, and EHEDG standards, ensuring suitability for pharmaceutical and biotech applications. It features fast recovery from CIP/SIP cycles, enhancing process availability.
