The Memosens CPL51E, CPL53E, CPL57E, and CPL59E are a family of digital pH sensors from Endress+Hauser, designed for laboratory analysis and random sampling in the field. Featuring Memosens 2.0 technology and application-specific designs, they deliver reliable, highly accurate pH measurement with true plug-and-play capability.

The sensors are available in four application-specific versions. The CPL51E is a robust sensor with a plastic shaft, suitable for drinking water, wastewater, and process water applications. The CPL53E is a versatile all-rounder for standard laboratory applications, offering a very fast response time. The CPL57E features a salt storage reference system for drift-free measurement in pure and ultrapure water, including boiler feedwater. The CPL59E is designed for demanding media in the chemical and process industry, featuring a PTFE junction and ion trap for strong oxidizing media.

All sensors operate on the potentiometric measuring principle with a gel-filled reference system that requires no electrolyte refilling, ensuring maintenance-free operation and long service life. The measuring range covers pH 0 to 14, with an application range of pH 1 to 12 for most models. Process temperature ranges vary: –5 to +80°C for the CPL51E, –5 to +100°C for the CPL53E and CPL57E, and 0 to +135°C for the CPL59E. All models are designed for 1 bar pressure and are not intended for continuous measurement in process.

The Memosens 2.0 digital technology provides true plug-and-play capability. Simply connect the sensor and measurements can begin immediately. Measured values, calibration data, and sensor history are stored directly in the sensor head, enabling status checks and supporting GLP requirements. The inductive Memosens coupling is insensitive to moisture and corrosion, ensuring secure data transmission in demanding environments. All sensors are supplied pre-calibrated and are directly ready for use.

Each sensor features an integrated NTC 30kΩ temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation, ensuring accurate pH readings. The tamper-proof data storage unit includes serial number and calibration history information, supporting quality management requirements and traceable sensor calibration.

The sensors have a diameter of 12 mm and shaft length of 120 mm, with IP68 ingress protection. They are suitable for a variety of applications including drinking water, wastewater, process water, pure and ultrapure water, boiler feedwater, and demanding chemical and process media.
