The Cerabar PMP51B, PMC51B, and PMC71B are high-performance pressure transmitters from Endress+Hauser’s latest Cerabar generation, designed for the precise measurement of absolute and gauge pressure in liquids and gases. These devices combine robust sensor technology with a user-centric design, offering intuitive operation via guided wizards and optional remote control through the SmartBlue App and a secure Bluetooth connection.

  • Cerabar PMP51B: Features a metal membrane and is ideal for accurate measurement in liquids and gases. It is available with diaphragm seals for demanding applications and offers a measuring range up to 400 bar (6000 psi).

  • Cerabar PMC51B: Utilizes a ceramic membrane (Ceraphire®). It is fully vacuum-resistant up to +100°C and designed for applications requiring high system safety, with integrated membrane breakage detection.

  • Cerabar PMC71B: Equipped with a high-end ceramic membrane for premium accuracy, especially in abrasive, high-vacuum, or corrosive applications. It is fully vacuum-resistant up to +150°C.

  • Cerabar PMC51B: Utilizes a ceramic membrane (Ceraphire®) for robust and reliable measurement. It is fully vacuum-resistant up to +100°C and offers a measuring range up to 40 bar (600 psi).

  • Cerabar PMC71B: Equipped with a premium ceramic membrane for highest accuracy requirements. It is fully vacuum-resistant up to +150°C, offers a measuring range up to 40 bar (600 psi), and features advanced Heartbeat Technology for continuous diagnostics and on-demand verification.

All models deliver outstanding measurement precision. The PMP51B and PMC51B offer a standard reference accuracy of up to ±0.075%, with an optional platinum version achieving ±0.055% . The PMC71B provides top-tier accuracy of ±0.05% as standard and ±0.025% in its platinum version. Long-term stability is exceptional, with values ranging from 0.05% to 0.1% of URL per year depending on the model.

Operation and Communication

The transmitters feature intuitive operation with clear, guided wizards for commissioning and proof testing .
