The flowmeter operates on the Karman vortex street principle, with no moving parts for maintenance-free operation. Integrated temperature and pressure measurement enable multivariable capabilities including volume flow, mass flow, corrected volume flow, energy flow, heat flow difference, and temperature. The nominal diameter range covers DN 15 to 300 (½ to 12 inches), with measuring ranges of 0.2 to 1,895 m³/h for liquids and 1.5 to 25,285 m³/h for steam and gas.

The sensor design ensures increased mechanical integrity and is optimized for high-pressure mating pipes. It delivers consistent accuracy down to Reynolds number Re 10,000, offering one of the most linear vortex meter bodies available. Volume flow accuracy is ±0.75% for liquids and ±1.00% for steam and gas, with mass flow accuracy for liquid at ±0.85% and for saturated steam at ±1.5% (temperature/pressure compensated).
