According to the director of IC CardApplication Service Center of MOHURD at yesterday’s 12th China(Beijing) International Summit of RFID and Internet of Things, MOHURD waspreparing the national standard for evaluation model of smart city and standardsystem of basic evaluation and such standard would be the first one fordirecting and evaluating smart city in China. The relevant preparation, submissionand review would be expected to be completed within this year. According to theinformation MOHURD had disclosed, by the end of the first quarter of this year,104 cities had started constructing and planning smart city and more than 80%of secondary cities had clearly declared to build smart city during national newurbanization construction
